UNO

Uno is a Spanish word meaning “One”; the figure considered by great philosophers to be the ultimate principle. This creation aims to present one of the beliefs that says that each person has a predestined path and that with enough determination, everyone has the power to emerge victorious. The artists participating in this piece come from Japan, Guinea-Conakry, Central Africa and Canada. The music, of which Yamoussa Bangoura is the songwriter, is inspired by traditional African rhythms completely redesigned in a Western way.
